Bio

Jacob Lightman lives in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and is the author of the science fiction adventure novel A Buzz. He is passionate about creating new worlds with exciting, dynamic, and fun characters. Jacob has completed multiple adrenaline-filled adventures through Latin America, Europe, and Asia. These international experiences, as a cultural outsider, have helped him to channel science fiction themes and develop different societal norms in his stories. He earned a writing-related master’s degree and wanted to be an author since childhood, when he would invent elaborate tales for his mom as a captive audience. Jacob speaks a little Spanish, German, and French. When he isn’t writing, Jacob enjoys lifting weights, cooking, and collecting old books.
